Updates 4/11/08
- I have uploaded revised PowerPoint presentations for African American music to Blackboard. Also, I have uploaded the presentation for Japanese art music, including the kabuki film we will study next Thursday.
- I have revised the final exam review guide to remove material we have had to omit from the syllabus.

Updates for 4/3/08
- PowerPoint presentations for African American and Latin American musics have been posted to Blackboard. Be sure to use the "Custom Show" feature when viewing these. I use these presentations for my courses on jazz and blues, and in those settings I need to go into more detail than is necessary for the World Music course. Selecting the custom show for MUS 351 omits unnecessary slides.
- The "panpipe demonstration" mp3 file is posted to Blackboard.
