- On certain equipment, "Sarasiruha" may be hard to listen to, since it is a single track over 22:00 long. I have divided this track into five parts and posted them under Additional Listening in Blackboard.
- For 2/7/08, I am adding to the syllabus a short Carnatic vocal performance, "Banturiti," which is now available under Additional Listening in Blackboard. We will use this performance in class tomorrow, and it will help you to be able to listen to it on your own afterward.

Revised syllabus
I have changed the syllabus to indicate that certain listening assignments will be found on Blackboard rather than in the library. I have also increased the font size so that it will be easier to read in the classroom.
